The NON_WELL_BEHAVED simply indicates whether the developer of that daemon wrote it to run under the control of OvSPMD (the super postmaster daemon). There is nothing at all, as users, we can do to change this. trapgend is a daemon only for AIX but it actually works with the SNMP agent - not the NetView server - hence it doesn't run under OvSPMD. mgragentd handles comms between NetView Server and a native NetView client (not the Web client) so again does not need to run under the control of OvSPMD.

Cheers,
Jane

On AIX, NV 7.1.4, fp3, which daemons are allowed to show up as OVs_NON_WELL_BEHAVED?

Thanks
