the
lines are in snmp.conf and snmpd is running. and the linux netview server
is specific in xnmsnmpconf. any other ideas?

After I put those two lines in snmpd.conf, made sure snmpd was running, put the entries for the Netview server in snmsnmpconf, and cleared the database, it came back. Cordially, Leslie A. Folks: I'm doing this port of our aix installtion to linux and I'm missing the manager submap when I bring up netview. What would cause this? The smartset netviews has all my netview servers in it, though. Thanks in advance |
