We met the same problem on the AIX 5.2
platform. What we did was, install the integration Utilities on AIX5.1
and manually move the files (such as
oid_to_type, oid_to_sym, files in /usr/OV/conf, /usr/OV/fields,/usr/OV/symbols

/usr/OV/snmp_mibs, usr/OV/registrations
and etc) to the AIX 5.2 platform. It's tedious but worked.

Thanks very much...

It is really bad that situation, because we need to migrate the Netview
Server from AIX 5.1 to AIX 5.2 and we are not able to do that, and this
is
critical for us...
I don't know, if we can do something to force the installation and obtain
the benefits of integrated Netview and CiscoWork......can you give me some
idea about that..!!...

I really appreciate any suggestion....

Anabella,
The latest available version of Ciscoworks Integration Utility, which is
the
version you are using, does not support AIX 5.2. It's for AIX 5.1 only.
Cisco do not seem very keen to keep up-to-date with AIX releases as it
feels
it has too few customers using NetView for AIX to make it worth their
while.
It's a real shame for those of us in this situation (again!).
