You can also go to /usr/OV/conf/mibExpr.conf and create the identical
collection with a different name. To be "picky" you can have many
collections with the same data but not with the same name.
The need for multiple collections of the same data in my location was so
we could apply different automation to the threshold overflow when
collecting for gigabyte links than for 100mb links.

It's true that you cannot have two collections for the same data, but
you
can edit the collection you already have and add nodes or smartsets to
it.
Start the collection GUI (collect.exe) highlight the existing collection
and press "Properties" and go from there. You can add new nodes or
smartsets, alter the polling properties or remove nodes as you choose.
