I am having an issue with slotmap formatting between Netview AIX 7.1.4 and
Netview AIX 7.1.3.

I am receiving a cisco trap with a HEX network address variable.

In the event view of both versions the variable
rttMonHistoryCollectionAddress is displayed as "*t^X". When the variable
is mapped to rttDestAddress in the slot map,

AIX 7.1.4 sends the value rttDestAddress=0x"2a 74 18 f6".
AIX 7.1.3 sends the value rttDestAddress="*t^Xö".

I can convert rttDestAddress=0x"2a 74 18 f6" in perl to a dotted decimal
IP. I cannot however do anything with "*t^X".

Is there a difference between 7.1.3 and 7.1.4 that would cause this or is
it a configuration paramater of some sort?
