RE: [NV-L] Reg CRC Errors

Hi,

 

The interface no of a router for which i need CRC Error data is 19, the interface no got from Monitor-->Tools-->Network Configuration-->Address, when i start querying the same router from MIB Browser traversing through the MIB Structure .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.12 for locIfInCRC, i can able to see till 16 Instance only. How do i obtain CRC errors data for this Interface. i have even mentioned this router IP in the Tool-->Data Collection & Thershold -->locIfInCRC (MIB Object Collection Summary) specified the option ALL Instance. Please advice me on this.

Try using the native MIB browser and querying those devices for this information directly. If they don't provide it, then there is nothing NetView can do. If they do provide it, then I suggest a verbose trace of snmpCollect is in order to see what happens when those devices are queried by him.

Hi,

Hi iam using AIX 5L server for Netview v7.1.4.4, DB is Oracle 9i, For 
certain devices iam not getting CRC Error data, even though i have included 
those IP address in the Data Collection and Threshold option. Please advice me 
on this.
