John,

Change the action that NetView takes for these traps.
>From menu choose Options-->Event Configuration-->Trap Customization:
SNMP...

Select the Enterprise from this trap, then the specific trap number below.

Select Modify button and then set the Event Category to "Don't log or
display"

You will no longer be notified on screen or log that these traps are being
received.
