Yes, Netview V5.0 will operate on Framework 3.6, but I would strongly
recommend you use NetView V5.1, since it contains all the maintenance (i.e.
fixes) for V5.0. There will be no patches or PTFs specifically for V5.0.
It may also be impossible to get a e-fix for V5.0. The strong
recommendation is to go to V5.1 as soon as possible.

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me whether NetView 5.0 will run on top of Framework 3.6
as is? or is a patch or maybe an upgrade required to NetView 5.1 in
order to support Framework 3.6? The operating system is AIX 4.2.1.
