Hello Klaus,
The following should solve your problem.:
logon as root
 Exit all NetView for AIX ovw applications
. /usr/OV/bin/ovstop
. /usr/OV/bin/ovstart ovwdb
. /usr/OV/bin/ovw -fields
. /usr/OV/bin/ovw -config
. nv6000 (start NV for AIX )
