thanks for you answer. I did set that variable to ACCESS as well but the
installation ended up as I described. I cannot
figure out how to proceed. The machine is ok, also running Framework 3.2 and
some TME10 applications (I hope this is not
the root of the problem, is it?). No problems ever encountered.
