- Use a bitmap creater to create a bitmap for a certain sub-class (ex.
Location). For each bitmap, there are two files- the bitmap file itself
and the mask file (*.p and *.m). Also for the same "bitmap" 6 recommended
sizes need to be created - 20x20, 26x26, 32x32, 44x44 and 50x50. These
files are used in accordance to the display of the map.
- In any case, create these files and put them in the /usr/OV/bitmaps/C
directory.
- You then need to edit the /usr/OV/symbols/C/"sub-class" (in our ex.
subclass would be location) file and add the definition for your bitmap.
- Compile the bitmaps by issuing the following command :- ovw -config.
- Check the definition file for errors:- ovw -verify
- Close and restart your GUI.
- Add the new symbol to your map.
I hope this helps you.

Gaurav
