On the Transcend side of things. I am running version 4.2.1 and
Netview 5.1 without any problems (so far). The install for Transcend
lets you change the TEM_OV_VER to a lower number to allow it to
     provide 'compatability'.

Hi,

There're a few I'd like to find out....

I've a customer who has Netview 4.1 running Transcend 4.1 on AIX 4.1.x.
He wants to upgrade the AIX to 4.3.1 & Netview to 5.1. He also wants to
retain his Transcend or if not upgrade it as well (as long as it can be
supported on Netview 5.1).

Recently I was informed that Transcend does not support Netview 5.0 &
above. Question is, are Transcend 4.1 or 4.2 really supported on
Netview 5.1?

Is Netview 4.1 Y2K? If not, he wants to purchase a copy of Netview 4
which is Y2K so that he can continue using Transcend. Is that
possible? Can that version of Netview 4 run on AIX 4.3.1?

Please help! Thanks...

cheers,
Jeanie
