Jeanie,
We have Netview 5.1 on AIX 4.2.1 and we are running Transcend 4.2 without
any problems. I don't know about official support from 3COM in case of any
troubles. As Transcend 5.0 is designed as a stand-alone tool it does not
integrate into Netview (and can not run on the same machine). A possible
solution would be to run Transcend 5.0 on a separate server. I have heard
that Transcend 5.1 should be able to run on the same box as Netview, but I
don't know about any official announcement.
