Weiya,
Yes the software that you are missing is in the system CD's. The part that
you need to install from the X11 filesets are :::::

X11.base
X11.apps
X11.Dt
and the files that are marked
*X11 in the error code.......
and then after the clean up procedure you can reinstall Netview 5.1 patch
and then Netview 5.1 ..... It is fairly painless after the first install.
The first one is a killer.......

Ziyad,

Thanks for your help.

I am not quite familiar with AIX platform, and I need help on:

1. add English (United States) IBM-850 En_US, do I need an AIX
   system CD?

2. ".. run cleanup scripts", where do I get the scripts?
Is it OK that I remove /usr/OV directory?

3. "... install the X11 file sets ...", again, do I need a system CD?

Thanks again,

  Weiya
