Yes, you can do this:
If you do a backup, preparing for migration, a directory is created:
/usr/OV.back.v4.r1 or some such.
Just take this whole directory structure, put it on your new hardware, and
install NV 5.1. It will see it and use it for the migration. Make sure
that all the routers allow snmp queries from the new server.
The backup requires a stop of the netview daemons.
