If the web server applications are running, check the web server error log
to see whether messages have been generated by the web interface programs.
These messages should be in the /usr/OV/Web/httpd/logs/error_log.
What I meant is when a web client can't see the submaps and gets the same
message below, it's because there isn't a Netview's user interface running
from the root.

What do you mean with the web server is off? not started? because i started
it and i can web to it and all..
Do i have to have a user interface running in order to have a working web
interface? This interface can be on any machine?
I tried with a user interface now to and I get the same error. There is
something that bothers me, i don't have to login to the web-server shouldn't
i get a username/password windows when pressing ENTER?
Hope im not bothering you to much =)

Hi Christian.
Netview Web server is off. Run a copy of Netview's user interface from the
root.

When I try to display a submap I get this error
Could not create socket. CHeck socket/Netview User Interface.
Why do I get this and how do I fix it?
