You have to have the NetView console running on the NetView server in order
to access the submaps. There are some functions that you can perform from
the web client with the NetView web server running, but the console not
running. The Diagnostics tools and MIB browser are a couple of examples.
You'll get the username and password prompt if you have NetView security
enabled. Otherwise, there's no prompt.

What do you mean with the web server is off? not started? beacuse i started
it and i can web to it and all..
Do i have to have a user interface running in order to have a working web
interface? This interface can be on any machine?
I tried with a user interface now to and I get the same error. There is
something that bothers me, i don't have to login to the web-server
shouldn't
i get a username/password windows when pressing ENTER?
Hope im not bothering you to much =)

Hi Christian.
Netview Web server is off. Run a copy of Netview's user interface from the
root.

Why do I get this and how do I fix it?
