It's not a flat file, it's a database. You must use the GUI to modify it.

Do you know what file is created for this specific node polling? I would
like to have a program general the ip numbers and dump them to this file,
instead of entering them all by hand.

Hi Todd,
I do not know how to completely disable the default polling options, but
you could adjust them so "Poll Node for Status Every" field is something
like 2 weeks (or longer) and then enter in all devices to be status
monitored under "Specific Nodes" with your desired polling interval for
each.

Yes, is this sort of setup like a list of ip devices one would like to
monitor for availability? In other words enter in all devices I'd like to
monitor for status and disable the automatic polling done in polling
options.
