Okay, I give up. How about a more concise description of your problem . What
exactly is your ruleset trying to do that isn't working? Does your ruleset have
a Resolve instead of a Forward? TEC doesn't do Resolve (delete events already
sent) -- that is an nvevents-only function. If you want to remove an event from
a TEC console you have to close it in TEC with a TEC rule.
Is it possible that your TEC has more than one NetView sending to it? Make sure
that the originating hostname is correct.
If you like, you can actually see what your ruleset will send to TEC by
putting a real host that does not have TEC installed as the ServerLocation in
your tecint.conf and restarting nvserverd. Then all the passed events will be
cached in /etc/Tivoli/tec/cache rather than sent. Later, you can put the real
name back in, recycle the daemon and it will send all the events in the cache to
TEC. That isn't what's happened is it? That at some time you were using
forwardall.rs but your NetView could not contact the TEC for some reason or
other, so it cached all the events, and when that was fixed, they were all sent?
Other than that Roberto, you'll have to call Support, because as the guy who
works on these things, all I can say is "I don't see how this can be." nvcorrd
doesn't know whether the ruleset is for TEC or not, he just sends the events
that get forwarded to nvserverd, and nvserverd just sends them back to the
originator, to your events window, or off to TEC . In the entire history of
this functioning I have never seen an event get mis-directed.
And Support will want an nvcorrd trace (nvcdebug -d all) while the problem
occurs, along with trapd.log and wtdumprl ouput from the same time period. They
will also ask for your ruleset, your trapd.conf, and your tecint.conf.

Subject: Re: Send events to T/EC
Thank you for your info James.
I checked /usr/OV/conf/tecint.conf and it is correct.
I checked 'event stream' to control it is set to BLOCK and not to PASS and it
is correct.
The rule works fine for 'dynamic workpace' but not for T/EC.
As Dean Grant advise me, I used Tivoli Client to set configuration.
No improvements I had.
Thank you very much to all.
