Michele -

I cannot answer your question about haview, but I want to make one thing
perfectly clear. You do not have a performance problem with NetView. Haview is
an add-on product sold by AIX. It is not part of NetView. In fact, no one in
NetView Support nor development has this product installed. It is not even part
of Tivoli. So I think your best bet is to open a problem to AIX.

Hello All,
Environment: Risc/6000, AIX 4.2.1, Netview 5.1,Optivity8, about 10000 objects

I have performance problems with Netview 5.1. The process /usr/haview/haview
uses 95.5% of CPU continously,
I tried to kill haview process in order to reduce CPU% used, but it restarts
everytime automatically.
I need to have this process running because the Customer environment use all
servers on HACMP mode.
Someboby knows as to reduce process haview?

Thank you in advances
