You may want to open a PMR to help determine whether something else is
wrong with your system to cause this, but Leslie's advice is correct.  

You don't lose any NetView data by deinstalling/reinstalling the Nways
products, but if a system problem caused the corruption, it may recur.

Since this is old code, I assume it had been running correctly.  You
ought to figure out what's changed recently- upgraded Netview, AIX PTF
aplied?  The lppchk -v that you ran checks to be sure all of the files
are where the install information and ODM says they ought to be.  Do you
have a mounted filesystem that may have failed to mount?  Did somebody
delete some softlinks?  

ANother thing to consider is upgrading to Nways 2.1, which is
significantly more stable than 1.2.3.
