demand poll not running

Hi  all.
We have a problem with the demand poll utility. When we try to demand poll
different nodes, we get no response.
We saw the following messages in trapd.log:
1) demand polling on node ...
2) netmon related application disconnecting from trapd
3) netmon related application connected to trapd

We have been waiting about 5 minutes for a response, but nothing happens.

We have Netview6.0 on AIX 4.3.3.
