Steve

This is not a problem, I have Netview consoles running on both Solaris & Linux.
We originally had one running on NT using Exceed as the X-Windows server in our
Help Desk but it was slooooow so I tried running it on Linux and it is as fast
and stable as my Solaris box so they got Linux on a low end Intel Pentium
(which was going to be thrown out anyway) and I got to keep the extra sparc box
for my play network.

We are running Mandrake 7.0 on a 150MHz Pentium with 128MB of RAM and it goes
like the clappers.

Cheers - Gavin

All,

Does anyone know if you can run an X-windows NetView console session on a
Linux box yet? Being X-windows it seems possible, but then that's the catch
word, seems.
