Why not use Roter Fault Isolation , which is a feature of NetView and costs
you nothing to implement? See the doc in /usr/OV/doc. I would advise you
to be at Version 6.0.1 as it doesn't work quite right at 6.0.

Does anyone have a good recommendation (for or against) a solution to
cause analysis" in NetView? I've read about SMARTS' InCharge and it sounds
good. Are there any other solutions to consider. Thanks, Tom G.
