I have been running Netview for a couple years in a DecSwitch 900 based network. All of a sudden, it seems that my DecSwitch 900 hubs are being reset (at least daily) by management channel overruns. In the last case, the hub reset so badly that all connections on the backplane returned to factory defaults. After shutting down Netview, these overrun resets have been eliminated (at least for the past 4 days). Has anyone heard of such a problem on Digital Equipment 900 hubs or anyone else's hubs? What was the solution? |
