I've got a product that provides number of services. When one of the services fail, it sends a SNMP trap indicating a service failure but instead of using a name we get an interger value. Example: 1 = DNS 2 = DHCP 3 = LDAP etc Is there a way of substituting the interger value with name? So when operators see the event, it's obvious what failed. |
