Leslie is correct- Nways 2.1 will always use it's own Java.  This is
because of multiple jre versions out there and the inability to
guarantee some new applications won't mess with the current config. 
Therefore, installing new java on the box should have no effect on
Nways, since it shouldn't touch the box's java anyway. If the coring is
related, to your upgrades, I suspect it's because of the NetView upgrade
rather than the java.  There are some hits in newer NetView code, and I
understand it's rpc conflicts inflicted by the java-based browser
stuff.  To check this, turn off the NetView web daemons for a couple of
days and see if your coring stops.

And Leslie's suggestion to call support is going to be necessary to fix
it, if it's the rpc issues, bacause they have an Nways fix for this.
