RE: NetView 7.1 officially announced October 16, 2001

What happens if I installed NV/6000 5.x and 6.x under the Framework and I choose
not to install v7.1 under the Framework? Am I asking for problems?

Yes, migrations from 5.1 direct to 7.1 are supported.  You do it the same
old way.  You make a backup of your existing data and then you do an
upgrade install.

James, thanks for the info. Question - can we do an upgrade from 5.1.x to
7.1?

Yes, migrations from 5.1 direct to 7.1 are supported.  You do it the same old way.  You make a backup of your existing data and then you do an upgrade install.
