Yes--you can do it.
Just hand-hack in the numeric OID into snmpCol.conf and it should work
fine. man snmpCol.conf for details, or set up a similar monitor on
another oid, and then go in and hand modify the file entry that the
GUI creates for it.
The "does not support" is just a limitation imposed by which browser
they use for selecting oids. Data Collection for some reason uses the
snmpv1-only browser that has no visibility to your snmpv1/v2 mibs.
