Hi,
The Integration Util writes a log file into /tmp - check the output there !
(nmintegration.log)
Today i have got some problems with the Integration. (Sol 2.8, CW2000 CDone
4th,Netview 7.1.1)
1.) Integration Fails with errors.
Problem is that it uses /usr/OV/registration/$LANG for copying files
over.
(LANG was set to ISO8859....)
-> so exported LANG as C and rerun nmic.sh
2.) Cannot launch CiscoView from WEB Client. CW2000 doesn't popup with the
Login Screen - and says i am not logged on
no idea way it happens atm. RME works fine. (i think it might be
connected with the Autologin.jsp on the CW2000 server)
Kr,
Dietmar

Subject: [nv-l] Problems in CW2000 Integration
Dear all,
We are facing a problem on integration of CW2000 with Netview. Our
environment is
Solaris 2.7 with Netview 7.1.1 and CW2000 RWAN edition (CW2000 4th
Edtion).
The problem we have is that the script /opt/CSCOpx/bin/nmic.sh which
starts the
Integration Utility never ends. The Netview711SolarisServerAdapter.jar
adapter
takes control and starts the integration process which according to the
manual
should last about 45 minutes. That said the integration process never
stops (we left it
for more than 4 hours without result).
The same problem occurs with Netview 6.0.3 and began to appear after
CW2000
4th Edition. Is there a java problem to be resolved? We have already
applied the Java
patch on CW2000 4th edition.
Does anything similar occur to you? Could you please help?
Yours sincerely,
Kostas Kottos
