We run both spectrum and netview here.
  Marcos's comments are right on, especially the DB comments and the
CLI.
IMHO It is quite difficult to RYO interfaces
into the spectrum info via CLI.   doable, but a huge mess

We have both interfacing with TEC, but
we wrote that ourselves

I would not have  choosen to run
both, but sometimes you don't get what you want.
