I
think IBM should really concentrate in adding THE REAL and
FULL support for SNMP V2 and SNMP V3, rather than adding so much Java stuff
and not reviewing the foundation code for NetView. This is what the
customer wants. First question they ask is "Does it support V2 and V3?". It
looks like all IBM C programmers, working on NetView source code
have quit :-). Building that Java interface is nice and adding some
scripts are fine too, but I think, by far the most important thing would be to
add the FULL and COMPLETE support for SNMP v2 and v3. This is what sells the
product.
