Jim,
I'm unclear from
your post whether you are attempting correlation at layer 2 (use of term
segment) or layer 3 (represented by X.Y.Z network number). Others have
already suggested third party products for layer 2 correlation. Netview
has some layer 3 correlation via the Router Fault Isolation
feature. If you're not already familiar, refer to document
/usr/OV/doc/RouterFaultIsolation.htm
