Hey all... I need a hand..     (stop clapping)

I am trying to calculate bandwidth utilization on a half-duplex gigE link.

I've got 36 hours worth of InOctet and OutOctet collected every 60 seconds.  (via snmpget... .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1....)
I've taken the change in "in" and "out" and added them together and then I multiplied it by 800....
then I divided by 60,000,000,000

I am getting percentages anywhere from 5% to 2000%...

I don't believe it's possible to get a 2000% utilization is it? :)

Is this still the correct formula for GigE?   If so, how can I be getting > 100% utilization?

Please help, I really appreciate any input.
thanks
b
