One item when changing host name not mentioned by Don.    When a device is
discovered, it is put into several NetView databases.  Namely: topology,
object and map.   When you change a hostname and do a demandpoll, it
appears that the topology and map database get updated...but the object
that the symbol represents will still have the old name in the object
database.    This is not a problem unless you have automation or reports
that utilize the "selection name" in the object database.
