Dave, Please copy into the email *exactly* what you get back in your shell session. Also, what shell are you using? What is the pwd? What is the full command you are using (please omit syntax enhancement- just show the raw command with path if any). Did you copy the CDROM? Are you working from a CDROM copy or an image? What is the product number on the CDROM? Regards, Geo. Hi All, Im having a problem when attempting the upgrade to 7.1.4 from 7.1.3 on AIX 5.1 server.. I issue the command 'instalnv -k SERVER -u' and receive an invalid syntax error and receive -k <KIT>: kit to install where KIT is CLIENT or BOOKS. It does not provide me an option for SERVER... I also attempted 'instalnv -k <SERVER> -u' and receive : ksh: SERVER: 0403-016 Cannot find or open the file... What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Dave AIX 5.1 Netview 7.1.3 |
