I have done a successful update of SERVER in the same environment. I
haven't updated a CLIENT but I did find that the BOOKS kit worked as a
new install, rather than an update, even though BOOKS was installed in
7.1.3. The result is that you get the new Admin Guide.
Cheers, Jane reamd@Nationwide.com wrote: Hi All, Im having a problem when attempting the upgrade to 7.1.4 from 7.1.3 on AIX 5.1 server.. I issue the command 'instalnv -k SERVER -u' and receive an invalid syntax error and receive -k <KIT>: kit to install where KIT is CLIENT or BOOKS. It does not provide me an option for SERVER... I also attempted 'instalnv -k <SERVER> -u' and receive : ksh: SERVER: 0403-016 Cannot find or open the file... What am I doing wrong?
