I don't see the problem. You use the editor. Type "collectioned" from the command line, select "Add", then "Modify" the first rule, and go from there, The Attribute would be "IP Address". James Shanks Level 3 Support for Tivoli NetView for UNIX and Windows Tivoli Software / IBM Software Group
Netview 7.1.3 AIX 4.3.3 In our environment only the loopback address of the router is configured in DNS to resolve a hostname to an IP address. Therefore, all other interfaces on the routers are IP addresses only. From our campus routers (approximately 20 routers) our NOC has identified very critical IP address interfaces that they want put into a single Smartset. How can I create a smartset that will contain specific IP addresses? Thanks -Donna RSIS/SSA |
