Run ovobjprint > file and then look through that
file for any references to this device. Do you
find any?

This is on the lab server, on live server for this device it is fine.
We are testing the upgradation of netview from 7.1.3 to 7.1.4.
I already upgraded the lab server to 7.1.4.
We have this problem on live server with other devices they don't change color.
I was thinking that the problem could be with the version but same thing is
happening with 7.1.4.

Does it have multiple interfaces could it be that it
is being discovered on another interface?

When I try to find this device it is not there in the map.
I can find it only in the smartset.
I checked netmon.seed, the subnet is there to which this device belongs and I
am polling specifically to this device.

You will need to remove the device from the map that
it is attached to, then rediscover that device by
pinging it.

The interfaces are from different devices combined in one smartset and that
smartset is displayed.
The color of the smarset is green though it has blue interface, I deleted the
interface from BadODIs.
But how I can rediscover particular interface (or IP).

Blue in color by default is status "unknown". There must
have been a problem of some kind discovering this device.
Is the upper level device blue, ie you mention that the
interfaces are blue, but what about the device that they
are a part of. Is that icon blue? If so, you need to
delete that device and rediscover it. As long as the
device is blue in color, NetView is not truely aware
of it.

Hi all,
Can anybody help me regarding the subject.
The interfaces in the smartsets do not change from unreachable (sky blue color)
to reachable (green).
Though I can ping, do demand poll. The interfaces which do not change color are
in BadOIDs.
I have Netview 7.1.4.
Thanks.
