isSwitch is set when the OID is declared in /usr/OV/conf/C/oid_to_sym to be "...:connector:switch".  The OID for the new switch type should also be entered in /usr/OV/conf/oid_to_type at the same time.  Installing the Cisco interface package should cover this.

where do i find in the mib tree the value to set cisco switches (2950 adn4507) to isSwitch ??  my 3500's came with that already turned on but the new switchs dont show it.

 

I thought it was sysServices but they match up for one thats show 'isSwitch = true' and the ones that are missing it.
