Thanks for the pointer, Mary.  It looks promising.

 

There is a problem with the new NetView info center; it doesn’t support the Firefox browser very well.  In my case the content of the left pane flashes and disappears.  All I see is a “wheat” colored window.  (That’s unmanageable J. ) I don’t know if it’s a tan print on tan background problem or something more significant but it’s essentially blank.   

 

I don’t like to use the Microsoft browser because of the constant string of security updates and the usability features which I find in Firefox.  I’m greedy and want both the improved Information Center AND Firefox security and usability.

Hi, Jane (and everyone), I notice that the old NetView info center (at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/tividd/td/NetView7.1.4.html) has not yet been updated to point to the new one (at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/tiv3help/index.jsp?toc=/com.ibm.itnetview.doc/toc.xml). However, that will happen--probably not until January though.
