It's the GA version.  Here's what the About tab tells me:

        Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5)
        Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

I'm sensitive to such things because I support a web site and make sure my html works for Firefox, Opera and the MS-mess.  MS does not make it easy to be compatible.  As an ex-MVS programmer the output of the "composers" makes me ill so I do it by hand and can keep it compatible.  It also runs faster.

Hear, hear! I have also found problems with Firefox - very quirky
behaviour, but not as bad as Bill's "wheat print on wheat background"
symptoms. I am using Firefox 0.9.3 Bill - what about you? Similar
comments about M'soft browsers - we won't use 'em.

Cheers,
Jane
