What about RH 9 ? is it supported ?

The official requirements according to the release documents are NV
7.1.4 fixpack 2 and RedHat AS 3.0 update 2.  NV 7.1.4 out-of-the-box
will not work on RHAS 3.0;  you will need to get the fixpack 2 disc.
