The Java Console used by our operations desk is installed on a Windows workstation remote from the Linux box using nvwcinstall.exe. What environment would I source at the Windows box? Just to keep things on the up and up, I opened an X-windows session to the NetView server and invoked NVenvironment and nvwc.sh on the Linux RedHat 3 server box to display on the workstation. I got the same message when using Quicktest. The read-write map is owned by netviewd. If you want to take this offline and have me send screen shots and such we can do that. Bill Evans
