[nv-l] Netmon not responding?

Windows 2003 Std SP1
Neview 7.1.4 FP03

After the initial discovery (around 47 Nodes) whenever we try to "Demand Poll" or "Quick Test" or any other 'netmon' related task on any node it just keeps saying " Waiting for Netmon to respond"?   the netmon.trace file is empty. Are there any compatibility issues with Windows2003, this is the first time we are facing this kind of problem. Urgent Help is requested.
