You will need to talk to your IBM marketing rep about the actual cost. The usual cost for Precision IP and Omnibus is much higher than NetView was, because we were practically giving it away with TEC. I have heard statements made to the effect that users will get to credit the entire purchase price they spent on NetView against the negotiated cost of Precision/Omnibus, but exactly that would work out to depends on your past history. To put it another way, every user's case will be different, so you will need to have your marketing rep investigate that for you.
Does any one if the migration to Netcool cost more money or just our regular maintenance cost?
