[NV-L] Reg Discovery

Hi,
I am using Netview 7.1.4.4 on AIX 5L , DB is Oracle 9i.
I have added an entry in netmon.seed file, I can able to do snmpwalk on that IP also. But I cant to able to discover the node in the MAP. The device iam trying is discover is Router. Usually I use to follow an procedure while doing discovery,

1. Ping the IP
2. Do SNMPWALK along with community name.
3. Add the IP in the seed file
4. re-read the seed file netmon -y
5. Able to get the object.
6. DO nmdemandpoll and snmpwalk without community name
Please advice me on this. Whether I need to follow any other procedure.
