Yes, you can go directly to V5.1 from V4.  That migration has been tested
thoroughly and the procedures documented.
Make very certain you read the Release Notes which accompany the product
thoroughly.   There is nothing to be gained by going to V5.0 first, unless
you had some kind of marketing deal as an incentive (at one time the
migration was half price).

  I was waiting for V5.1 to go GA before placing my order. The question is
can I go from
V4.1 directly to V5.1?. I have bean monitoring all the difficulties with
the installation of
V5.0. Is it wise to expect less challenges while installing the NEW  V5.1?
