White line is the same as reverse-video label on a box: it is highlighed, as the result of Locate, or Highligh Node on Map, or Locate Route VIA SNMP. To undo this, View..Highlights...Undo Highlights. There is a nice picture of this under Help...Legend on the top toolbar.
