Regarding CWSI performance we had on the Solaris platform (2.6) with CPU
usage, Cisco informed us that "this is a well-known problem. What I advise you
is to have a look at the troubleshooting guide:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cw2000/cw2000c/gsg_c/gstrbl.htm#xtocid2149815

... it gives you 5 hints how to improve your performance.

What you can also do from time to time is to clean the database. It costs you
just the time of a new discovery. To do this, run "reinitdb"."

We altered:
    Discovery.threads=12.
to:
     Discovery.threads=5.
In the ani.properties file in the CWSI directory.

Which did improve the CPU usage. However, at this stage the customer was not
worried about using CWSI so I am not sure of the effect it would have the
usage of CWSI application.

Hope this helps, Neil.
